Save a Turkey - - Join a Guyanese Roti (& more) Feast
For those of us not traveling away for this holiday, and not having fixed plans yet, consider joining in for a relaxed ride to an interesting ethnic enighborhood and collaboratively dining inside a traditional Guyanese restaruant.Weather should be bright and seasonably chilly, so we'll ride while steadily pedaling to keep warm (not a sweaty pace!) and enjoy shedding those layers to partake of our indoor feasting/browsing. So do dress in layers for the weather, especially covering your extremeties. Tehre are plenty of bail options along the way, plus the A subway line has a stop near our dining destination if you'd like to have non-cycling pal join us. Overall our mileage won't be impressive, but this will be a wonderful, fun outing and neat way to celebrate the holiday and say our own "thanks". And if someone's not a member of 5BBC (required to join our on-bike cycling) good news, there's a special $3 rate for a trial month, so it's easy and "bon marche".
