PIZZA! PIZZA! At the Full Moon Arthur Ave. Best pizza in Da Bx
Time to kick back, sleep late and make sure you're ready to enjoy an Autumn day in the tradition of the Italian immigrants that settled in their New World of America. We'll take an easy ride to put something Italian in you like spumoni, Zeppolli, Canola, Ices, pastries and, of course, PIZZA. We'll meet and ride across the new Willis Ave. Bridge with it's double Wide bike path, follow parts of the route of the Old 3rd Ave. El to the Arthur Ave. enclave. The El was an important link for Italians. It provided a way for the folks in Little Italy around Canal Street in lower Manhattan to visit their family members in the country, as it was called. The train-cars were simple but, the views from the El gave a panorama of the City. And, at the end of the trip, there was a good, home cooked meal. The tradition continues. Bring a lock, money for lunch and an empty belly so you can fit everything your eyes make you want. 15ish miles.
