The Old Put with a new look.
On a beautiful Fall day, with the leaves red and gold, ride on a new, clean top over where steam trains once chugged. Enter at the old station. Ride through Van Cortlandt Park. View a model railroad at a reproduced railroad station. A memorial to the Irish famine near man made lake created by a dam. There are history signs along the way that show the history of the Old Putnam Valley Railroad. We'll eat lunch at either the lake or a fine country diner. Bring a spare tube, a pump, tire irons and money for lunch.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the registered riders. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
