Everything Old Is New Again
We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it!” Not so fast buddy. Some bridges and the water under them were appalling …but “The Times They Are A Changing.” This Brooklyn to Queens ride will take us over a quaint (euphemism for rickety and old fashioned) bridge to the latest wonder of bridges, the new Kosciuszko Bridge. (Who was that guy anyway?) And what’s the sweetest part of this ride, a stop for you hipsters at Domino Park where you’ll see a mural that will blow your 5BBC socks off. Bring Lock and “”snacks on the go” as there is no formal lunch stop due to chillier weather. Rain, snow, or temperature below 40 degrees by 8:30 a.m. cancels the ride. Leaders Richard Sanford and Manny Sanudo.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the registered riders. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
