I’m outta here! If George hadn’t pulled off one of the greatest tricks in history, we’d all be speaking with a British accent. “The Battle of Brooklyn!.”  Why is the biggest battle of the Revolutionary War one of the best kept secrets? ‘Cause we lost!  On this exact same date August 29, 1776, George found himself up against a creek (well actually the East River). But to find out what happened next, we’ll have to do a few maneuvers on our own. First, the Old Stone House, The Maryland Memorial, Battle Pass in Prospect Park, The Prison Ships Martyr’s Monument, Fulton Landing, Bowling Green, and Fraunces Tavern. Join us for this Happy face yet jaw dropping ride. Bring lock, your lunch and $5.00 (no pounds please) as a donation to the Old Stone House Museum.  Covid-19 rules apply. Rain at start cancels.
