This is a NEW RIDE that we are featuring as part of the 5BBC Spring Training Series.  The furthest NORTH you can get in NYC before bumping into Yonkers is 263rd Street in North Riverdale.  The furthest SOUTH you can get in NYC is in Tottenville right near the Conference House.  This ride connects the two.  We start in Van Courtlandt Park for the short ride up to the top of NYC - and from there on in we go south.  Once we cross the Broadway Bridge into Manhattan - we head to the West Side where we do the entire Hudson River Bikeway.  We then have a little break as we take the ferry across and lunch at cyclist favorite "Cargos".  Then it's back on the bikes as we head around Staten Island through the scenic and the less scenic.  Eventually - we end up at the South Pole - the southernmost part of our City and our State.  After a day of riding - we will be taking the SIRR back from Tottenville Station to the Ferry.

Bring the usual stuff that you take on a ride - locks, tubes, snacks etc.
