TdBx Volunteers Consolation Ride
Dear Tour de Bronx 2019 marshals and other volunteers:
Were you bummed about the weather-related cancellation of this year's Tour de Bronx? We were too, although it was the right call.
We are offering this consolation ride as a way of saying "thank you" for your help in planning Tour de Bronx. We are also offering it to all 5BBC members as a way of thanking the club for hosting this ride.
On Sunday November 17, at 9:00 AM, we will assemble at Lou Gehrig Plaza (161st St & Grand Concourse). Bring your bike, your helmet, a water bottle, some pocket food, and the bike repair tools you would be carrying as a TdBx marshal.
Choose either the 40-mile or 25-mile route of the Tour de Bronx. We will ride these routes in groups using the point-drop-sweep method of keeping the groups together (we will explain). Lunch is not provided, but we will stop along the way so you can refuel. The ride will end near (but not at) the Botanical Garden.
Have you ever wanted to be in movies? Streetfilms will be coming along to document our ride.

Sorry, if you are not a TdBx volunteer or a current 5BBC member, this ride isn't for you. But you can still join 5BBC for the crazy low price of $25 per year and come along!
We love the Bronx!
