New London + CT Shore +Lob-stah

30/(5); 40/(5); 60/(4) miles / Start Location TBD

Yay - - Connecticut shoreline, plus seafaring and colonial New London . Here we come, for 3 fun days of touring, with 2 nights' accommodations. Public rail lines jump us to this new turf which is well beyond our normal cycling reach, so let's go play and explore. Besides neat cultural, historic, and visual delights, there's colonial history here too . . . including where turncoat Benedict Arnold led British troops when their soldiers overran and ransacked the settlements and town.

This trip works great even if the "R" word (as in . . ."rain") happens, as there's plenty to do around... Read more
