Neck and Neck
Let's neck. Great Neck and Little Neck to be specific. This is a close in 30ish mile scenic ride where we will see where the upper crust lives. Lots of turns and relatively hilly for a short ride, which can be good for winter, though temps are supposed to be in the mid to upper 40s. Some dead ends, but some incredible views and homes. Start is later at 11:15 to give some time to warm up. With all the turns, I'll try not to get lost too frequently.
Normally, we would stop and pick up lunch, but under the current circumstances, please bring a quick lunch to eat outside, along with snacks and sufficient hydration, as it is very unlikely that we will stop to pick up food. Also, as the ride starts late, please be sure to eat a good breakfast and have snacks as the time quickly eat a lunch will also likely be late. Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore new and unknown areas.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the registered riders. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
