Queens Trumps the other boroughs, especially via a "Trumpeteer" who blew the horn that made him famous. Add a little gravel to your "Hello Dolly" voice and you have one of the greatest American entertainers of all time, Louis Armstrong. Our ride first takes us to Flushing Cemetery where we will pay our respects at his grave. Then, we will head to an ethnic restaurant, to dine on some of the food that Louis loved most. Lunch, dessert and then we cycle to Louis's house/museum in Corona. After learning about this American icon and his optimistic look, we are sure you too will think to yourself "What a Wonderful World!"
Since admission (about $10) to the house/museum is limited, participants must register by email at firstname.lastname@example.org before the ride. The starting location will be sent to your email account after you register.
Bring lock and money for lunch along with museum fee. Rain at start cancels.
