A tour of Abolitionist Brooklyn sites followed by a trip to John Brown Smoke House
Saturday, June 23, 2018 - 10:00

We'll take a short tour of Abolitionist sites in Brooklyn, such as Henry Ward Beecher's famous Plymouth Church, the Beecher Statue, a stop on the Underground Railroad on Abolitionist Place and the Weeksville Heritage Center. Then we'll ride over the newly free and more open (to bikes) Pulaski Bridge to the borough of Queens to partake in some great smoked meats at John Brown Smoke House.  This will be the end of the ride as there will be beer at John Brown. The ride leader will then point out various subway options to get home. Bring money for BBQ, spare tube, lock, and as always a go with the flow chilled out disposition.
