Jersey City Wards Ride Feeder Ride
This is an event in the fine tradition our Club was founded upon "Promote cycling for a healthy life style.". Registration is free, with a $5 suggested donation to fund their year-round efforts to make cycling better, safer, more accessible and more fun in Jersey City. There is limited morning-of registration. Please sign up for the event ahead of time using the link here. http://bikejc.org/events/jersey-city-ward-tour/ward-tour-route We meet at City Hall Park at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge-RAIN OR SHINE. Then, we take the PATH train to the Grove St. Station and ride to the Jersey City Hall where we sign in/up for a traffic free 15 mile ride through the Jersey City Wards. It ends at a festival at the Newark Ave. Pedestrian Mall. We'll try to ride together. But, it's not obligatory. The 5BBC ride is to get you there for this great event which is fully supported with a route closed to traffic by the JC Police. So, bring money food and transport(PATH) and an old time attitude to promote cycling.
In the fine tradition of the Club, perhaps you would like volunteer as a marshal. They are looking for help and 5BBCer know how to get things done with safety. Please consider it when you arrive at their start point.
