Trenton to Lambertville and the Historic Washington Crossing
OKAY, HERE'S THE DEAL. RECENT RAINS HAVE MADE THE TRAIL A LITTLE IFFY. SO AS NOT TO cancel, WE'RE CHANGING OUR DESTINATION, PHILADELPHIA. THERE, WE 'LL ENJOY MUD-FREE TRAVEL, GREAT FOOD(PHILLY CHEESE STEAKS?). IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO THE LAND OF THE LIBERTY BELL, RING THE TOWN WITH US. WE'LL DO WASHINGTON CROSSING ANOTHER TIME.
What if Washington didn't cross the Delaware? There wouldn't be a United Sates of America.
Would the great experiment in human evolution happen? Who knows? But, thankfully, he did.
This ride takes us to that place and does it beautifully.
Meet at Penn. Sta. N.J. Transit waiting area at 7:30AM. We will be traveling along the D and R tow path from Trenton N.J. To Lambertville N.J. The tow path is hard packed soil suitable for road bikes through to mountain bikes. Fantastic voyage along a rustic environment in great company with your follow travelers. The pace is relaxed, the distance is 40 miles+, and it's totally flat!
Come join us we've been doing this for years to rave reviews!
