The 44th annual Montauk Century will roll on May 18, 2008. Choose from 65, 100, and 145 mile routes on Long Island's beautiful South Shore. Check-in points are at Penn Station and the LIRR station in Babylon. All routes end in Montauk where we'll be serving up hot meals and free massages. Transportation is available to get you and your bike home.

The Third Annual Montauk Century Weekend!

If you've always wanted to ride the full 145 miles from Manhattan to Montauk – or even a 200-mile "twin century" – but didn't think you could do it in one day, we've got a solution:

Do it in two!

The 5BBC offers the Montauk Century Weekend Trip on May 17-18. You'll join our small group of bikers on Saturday morning, pedaling east from Manhattan on the first part of the Montauk Century route. Your mileage is flexible; you can skip over the city section or opt for additional mileage opportunities to build your twin century. You will be supported by a private SAG van, which will also tote your overnight bag. About midway into the course, we'll gather for a fine dinner together, then retire for the evening at a nice hotel.

Sunday morning, we'll join the throng for the rest of the route out to Montauk, enjoying all the Montauk Century services along the way. After you arrive, we'll bring you, your bike and gear, back to the city.

All of the above is just $250, per person, double occupancy, and includes your Montauk Century Registration. (The price goes up to $275 on April 15th.)

Weekend trippers must be registered for the Montauk Century 2008 and also must be current 5BBC members. These details can be taken care of at the time of weekend trip registration.
